Eastwing Grooming Co. is a beard product company based in the United Kingdom. The company offers premium beard oils and beard balms. Their beard products can be shipped worldwide, at an affordable price.
I’m very glad to get the chance to review my very first beard products from outside of North America. I’ve heard great things about British beard products and clearly, as my first experience with them, I was impressed with this very solid beard oil and beard balm.
Rich Citrus Beard Oil – Pushing Citrus Further
The Rich Citrus beard oil is a daring blend of citrus, frankincense and black pepper. The strong notes of citrus are actually lime. This is the beard oil’s main aroma. The notes of frankincense help tone down the acidic character of lime by bringing a subtle resin kind of aroma. The very subtle notes of black pepper bring a bit of spice to the blend.
Quite frankly, this is an amazing beard oil scent. Lime smells pretty good, and combined with frankincense and black pepper, the end result gives a classy, versatile, rich and fresh beard oil.
The bottle is very classy too. This is not a typical dropper bottle. Eastwing Grooming Co. decided to use black frost glass bottles, with a label that gives the product a high-end and luxury branding. Nevertheless, it’s the product quality that matters in the end, and regardless of how cool the bottle is, the product is premium grade. They call it “Professional Beard Oil” for a reason.
Eastwing Grooming Co.‘s beard products are tested by professional barbers from London, Sweden & Brighton to give the barber seal of approval for supreme quality. Furthermore, their beard products are designed and hand blended by their in-house Herbalist and Aromatherapist with over 35 years collective experience. All this expertise they can lean on is definitely perceivable from a user standpoint. These guys know what they’re doing!

Rich Citrus Beard Balm – Great Control and Long-Lasting
The Rich Citrus beard balm smells exactly like the beard oil of the same scent. It provides above-average control, but the main strength of this beard balm is its long-lasting application. Based on my experience with it, I applied the same quantity of balm as usual, and 8 hours later, my beard was pretty much intact. Most beard balms I’ve tried tend to go away or become ineffective after a few hours. This is definitely not the case with the Rich Citrus beard balm.
As I mentioned, it provides above-average control. I was able to shape my beard with the greatest of ease. It also does a great job at controlling beard dandruff and moisturising beard hair as well as the skin underneath.

Feeling on Beard and Skin
The Rich Citrus beard oil has a nice texture and applies pretty well on the beard. The citrus scent is rather rich at first, but dissipates after a few minutes. The beard oil feels fresh and does a great job at reducing itching.
The Rich Citrus beard balm has a perfect texture. It’s very well-crafted and feels great on the beard and skin. The “Professional Beard Balm” mention on the label is definitely not hype. Eastwing Grooming Co.‘s walks the talk with that one. This is one solid beard balm. It’s long-lasting and its shaping properties are surprising.

For a first experience with beard products from the UK, the bar has been raised high. The fancy bottle and labels, as well as the “Professional” product claims might be seen as smoke and mirrors by some people, but think again. Eastwing Grooming Co. offers premium grade products that are definitely worth trying out. I also recommend you pay the extra cost of international shipping (which remains affordable). The quality is worth it.
Of course, you must like citrus scents, as Rich Citrus is mostly a lime scent with notes of subtle notes of frankincense and black pepper. You must be into citrus scents to appreciate that one.
