This is the second part of a three-part series of beard product reviews for Titan Beard, an American beard product company from California.
In the first part, I reviewed their Hades Heat, Leviathan and Great Oak beard oil scents.

Chimera – Throw Away your Cologne
Thanks to its musky notes, the Chimera beard oil scent smells like the average cologne. As a result, this is a good beard oil option when you go out with friends or on a date and don’t want to smell anything funky.
The company describes the scent as “mildly woodsy scent with notes of musk, cedar, vanilla and clove.” Based on my own experience, the musk notes are very present, but end up being well-balanced in the blend. The cedar notes are discreet, and so are the vanilla ones. As for the clove notes, they help make the whole blend spicier and less woodsy.
I like the classic manly character of this beard oil. Most beardsmen can use this scent everyday without growing tired of it, since it’s just like cologne. As for me, this is the kind of scent I like to apply on my beard every few days. I like to use various scents throughout the week.
Colossal Spice – Warmth at its Best
The Colossal Spice scent is great for colder days. The company describes its scent as “a spicy, warm and earthy scent with top notes of cinnamon, orange and clove”. The notes of cinnamon and clove are pretty obvious in the blend, and the orange notes bring a citrus side to the blend. As a result, the blend provides a very spicy beard oil that’s ideal during the cold days of winter. Personally, I like this kind of scent even on hot summer days, every once in a while.
The orange notes are very important in this blend, since it would be way too spicy otherwise. Cinnamon and clove are two very strong scents that need to be toned down, and orange is an efficient aroma to perform this task. Furthermore, the citrus notes brought in by the orange help make this beard oil wearable on all seasons nonetheless.
Kronos Coffee – A Cappuccino Splashed on your Beard
This one’s very special. The Kronos Coffee scent smells exactly like an actual cup of cappuccino. The first time I smelled this beard oil, I almost wanted to drink it. It smells awesome. Titan Beard describes this scent as “a mouthwatering freshly brewed coffee scent”, and this is totally spot on!
The scent is very sweet though. I didn’t see any information regarding the specific aromas used in this beard oil, but from my perspective, the blend seems to include mild notes of vanilla and strong notes of some kind of sweetened coffee cream (somewhere between Irish cream and caramel, I can’t tell precisely which one).
Kudos to the company for creating this impressive natural blend that most coffee lovers will fall in love with. It’s just important to be warned that the Kronos Coffee scent doesn’t smell like coffee beans, it smells like a sweet cup of cappuccino. If you don’t like the scent of sweet coffee, this might not be the best option for you. However, if you do, you’ll fall in love with this beard oil.
Mighty Mint – Beard Refreshment
This was the first time I used a beard oil with mint in it, and to be honest, I was a little skeptical. My first thought were, mint is nice for chewing gum and mouthwash, but on my face? I gave it a try nonetheless and ended up being very surprised.
The Mighty Mint scent doesn’t smell like peppermint chewing gum or mouthwash. I would rather say it smells like a glass of Mojito. Titan Beard describes the Mighty Mint scent a “a revitalizing and refreshing mint scent with a sweet blend of citrus.” The combination of mint and citrus provides a terrific, well-balanced and refreshing blend.
I like the feeling of this beard oil scent. It’s really refreshing and a pretty good option for hot summer days. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it frequently, and on all seasons. This blend is simple yet effective. If you like the scent of Mojito cocktails, this beard oil is for you.
To be continued…
This was the second part of this Titan Beard product review series.
The third part will include a review of the Twisted Lemon beard oil, as well as their newest beard balm of the same scent.
